I feel sort of refreshed this Monday and a lot less sickly, which is great because I am also feeling determined to build and grow this week. I'm up much earlier than I was any day last week and I'm already signed into 6 different accounts and ready to go.
The weekend was full of Halloween costume piece searching and talking with my boyfriend about the possibility of moving away and opening a bakery. Everything we want to do seems to take a lot of money that we just don't have, but we're bouncing ideas back and forth and thinking about where we want to go and how to get there.
We also went to see Whip It and Where the Wild Things Are, both really good movies. Whip It is adorable and I love Ellen Page. Where the Wild Things Are is everything I could ever have wanted it to be. It's a touch sad, but beautifully done and very well written. Everything unspoken in the book has been added to the movie and nothing seems out of place.
In prep for Halloween we also watched Mary Shelley's Frankenstein with Robert De Niro as the Monster - which I found surprisingly close to the book and really enjoyed. I'm debating re-reading that book sometime soon, but I have a stack that I think I want to start tackling this week first.
Tonight I have the first part of a Small Business Tax Seminar that I signed up for; I'm really hoping I can pick people's brains there about my business and how to grow it. Plus make sure I'm doing everything I'm supposed to Tax wise, which I'm pretty sure I am.
What's your Monday look like?
