Nowhere Nerds and New Products to be Made

There are several more posts up at Nowhere Nerds. One more post to go before our journey's story has been told all the way through. I'll probably post the last one tomorrow.

As I get myself back into the swing of things, I realize that my store is emptying as things expire. I want to fill it with new things, but the photography world is not like the jewelry world. I can't just make a new item, photograph it and list it all in one day. There is a process to what I do that takes a little longer. I have to choose the photo, edit it, decide if it'll be a bookmark or a card. If it's a bookmark then it could be ready in a day or two, but if it's a card it requires sending out to be made.

I'm starting to sort through photos, though, and I have a lot of new stuff from the road trip. Hopefully soon there will be a flood of new items for the store. But for now, please give it a visit because there are still some great items there!

Three Bookmarks Expiring Tomorrow

Three bookmarks will be expiring tomorrow :(

the Owl

marshmallows over a fire

and the Pirate

again, not sure which ones will get renewed or when I'll do the renewing!

Expiring Note

A handful of items expired in my store today, and six more will be expiring tomorrow - the six at the very top of the first page, in fact. I don't really have time for a full rundown right now but included are: the Imagine bookmark (a favorite), the Goat Doorknocker, the Sunflower, and the Vespa.

Saturday Blog Note

Just to let you know, the items I said are expiring are still up. I guess the system takes a couple extra days to follow through or something.

Happy New Years Eve!

Tis the time for Change and so I have some questions and notices, please. :)

1. I asked yesterday but got no responses - do you like how I have a long list of blogs on the side of my own? Or is it too hard to scroll through? I'm thinking about adding more but would like to know if that's annoying or awesome.

2. Notice my new Etsy Mini on the side? All of those bookmarks and some more will be EXPIRING TOMORROW. Except the last one, I'm not sure how to get a different image there. I'm not sure which of these will be renewed yet, so if you were ever interested in them now is the time to buy!

3. I've started a new book! It's called Wise Children by Angela Carter and I'm really enjoying it so far, but I'm not far enough in for a proper review yet. I've delayed The Hobbit once again, I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to get through that book.

4. Happy New Years Eve! Everyone please be careful and have lots of fun!

Etsy Tuesday: Expiring from FallenPeach

Good Morning! This Etsy Tuesday I'd really like to talk about some of my bookmarks that will be expiring upon the first of the new Year. It's been a really fun 4 months (or so) working on building my store and I can't wait to build it up even more. I'm sad to see some of these bookmarks go, and sadder still that they weren't bought. But the time has come (the walrus said..) and some will not be returning any time soon.

I'll be showing off a handful each day until then and here is the first batch. SO - If you were ever interested in these bookmarks - please note that the following will be expiring on January 1st!

My beautiful flower mosaic bookmark was an early favorite, and now has a total of 195 views and 2 hearts. This photo was taken at the Imagine John Lennon memorial in New York City and cropped for this bookmark.

Bird on a Wire now has 100 views and 2 hearts, and has had a difficult time of it. I personally love this photo taken just as Spring as beginning a year or so ago.

The first of my bookmarks to be in a Treasury, this Cat Doorknocker image is one of my favorites. Photo was taken on a trip down south, I think this one was in Savannah, GA. Has: 124 views, no hearts.

The first Rose bookmark I ever listed, this one only has 53 views and no hearts, I'm not sure why as it truly is a stunning image. Are roses too cliche? Or has this one just not found it's audience yet?

-- Later today and/or Tomorrow I'll be listing more of these expiring bookmarks. I'm also debating putting up a poll to vote for a few to be renewed. What do you think? --
