Running and Never Arriving

Lately I've been feeling frustrated. I feel like I'm running running running and never arriving. Don't get me wrong, I am super proud of everything I've accomplished since September and I'm keeping on keeping on, but occasionally I get a little down and lose my focus. This is what happened post our Niagara Adventure.

We had a great time, and it was really good for me to take a few days and not worry or think about anything but enjoying myself and the beautiful amazingness of Niagara Falls. But I got home and almost immediately hit bottom. After a few false starts and a couple break downs, I'm feeling a bit better and back to getting organized. I still feel, though, like I'm running and not arriving. I don't want miracles, but I would like to see more of an income coming from all the work I've been putting in lately.

I very much believe in what I'm doing, in my work and my products. I very much believe that I can do this and build this and make it work. I'm splitting my time between fallenpeach and searching for full or part time work, which can be frustrating, but I'm making it work for me. I just wish it would all move forward a little faster.

My list for today is short, but I'm determined to cross every little and big thing off of it. So far, so good. What do you do when you get frustrated?

Oh, Lindsey, I think you're describing something that I KNOW happens to me and that other folks have blogged about - the post vacation funk! I find it so hard to get back in the groove after a vacation, that sometimes I'd rather not have one! Does this have anything to do with the fact that we can't afford the kind of vacation that I would like to take, and instead we go camping? Nope ;-)

Anyway, know that you're not alone! When I'm feeling like this I can't be creative, because it just gets me down - so instead, I tackle some cleaning/organizing project - and that seems to help!

Take care!
